Evertec is the clear example of how to integrate strategies aimed at this purpose; it is the key to achieving great business results. Proof of this is the company\u2019s inclusion, for the third time, in Bloomberg\u2019s Gender Equality Index<\/strong>, which highlights its commitment to and transparency in the promotion of women’s equality within the organization.<\/i><\/p>\n

Bogot\u00e1, February 202<\/strong>1. Evertec, a leading company of transaction processing services in Latin America, stands out in the industry as an organization that features diversity, equity, and inclusion as its pillars.<\/p>\n

Part of Evertec\u2019s efforts is reflected in their positioning as an employer brand, by promoting several policies based on equity and gender diversity, free of prejudice and fostering an inclusive culture where women can occupy leadership roles, as well as anti-harassment policies. These have been effective tools that the corporation is proud of.<\/p>\n

Recently, Evertec received the news that, for the third consecutive year, it would be included in Bloomberg\u2019s Gender Equality Index, which identifies companies committed to transparency in the disclosure of gender-related reports and the promotion of women’s equality. This index also measures gender equality based on five pillars: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.<\/p>\n

This is not the only aspect worth highlighting. As part of Evertec’s commitment to women’s growth within the organization, they held part of the Globant Awards – Women That Build Edition<\/strong>, an award that recognizes women who have made their careers in technology and manage innovation projects and collaborations. One of the five finalists for this award was Patricia Parrado, Technology Manager for Colombia, who stood out among a large number of participants due to her professional trajectory, academic training, leadership, and impact on the community.<\/p>\n
