The Program was established in 2015, and since then, Evertec has demonstrated a genuine commitment to contributing to the development of a highly technological society with young professionals who can perform competitively in the new labor market. The program is not only focused on strengthening STEM industries (those in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics); but is also aligned with current market requirements prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, where the demand for science, data and information technology professionals has experienced a major boom. But it goes beyond that: Program results have demonstrated that it fosters the interest and inclusion of girls and women in STEM careers.
